On a beautiful, sunny but cold day, we tried out the Blanc Martel trail starting from the famous auberge du point sublime and ending with the chalet de la maline!

The Blanc-Martel trail takes its name from Isidore Blanc (a teacher in the village of Rougon) and Alfred-Edouard Martel (a speleologist), who were the first to walk it in 1905.

The walk is 16 km one way. Duration of the walk : allow 6 to 7 hours .

Take time to appreciate the beauty of the Gorges du Verdon.

Ascent: 600m positive ascent.

Be careful at this time of year, the rocks are very slippery, there aren't many people to be seen and, above all, there's no possibility of taking the shuttle (Back to MAP) 😉

*hiking boots recommended.

*Don't forget to take a torch for the tunnels and water to quench your thirst 😉 .
